March 1, 2011 – Reston, VA. Evolver, Inc., a company focused on delivering innovative IT solutions to customers in the federal and commercial markets, announced today the appointment of Doug Barbee as the Company’s President. Mike O’Kane, who held this position previously, will continue to act as Chairman and CEO of the Company. In his new role, Mr. Barbee will be responsible for helping in the execution of the Company’s strategy and operations on a day-to-day basis. Mr. O’Kane will focus on the advancement of Evolver’s strategic direction, including expansion of Evolver’s markets, offerings, and key partnerships.
“Doug has played an integral role in Evolver’s exceptional growth over the past two years,” said O’Kane, “and his leadership will be instrumental in helping Evolver continue to achieve success as we enter the mid-tier market”. Mr. Barbee has nearly 30 years of experience in managing and delivering information technology solutions and services to the government and industry. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Evolver, where he was primarily responsible for new business acquisition and service delivery.
